No — it is situational awareness that mirrors official sources and links residents straight to them. Official evacuation orders always come from your sheriff and emergency alerts; the Watcher makes them easier to find and understand.

Where does the data come from? +

Official and public feeds — NIFC fire perimeter, the National Weather Service, your county's public GIS/sheriff evacuation layers, and state road-closure data. If a source goes down, the map keeps the last good data and flags it rather than showing a blank.

How fast does it update? +

Automatically, on a schedule, from the live sources — typically every few minutes. No one has to manually post updates.

Can it be branded for our town or county? +
